I don't know if anyone has mucked in school politics before, well, I know connor has, I don't think he won, though (no offense connor if you did, I am just ignorant of it then...) I know Gifted has second hand, but I have won Elementary school elementary school president office and I remember it being pretty pointless. I suppose discuss it here. Make a small debate if you want...

The ASB at my school sucks. They just mostly party, take credit for things they didn't do, and make posters. I hear ROTC students complain about them all the time.
Plus, they misspell everything on the posters. It shames me to think they represent us. -_-

Yes, I ran in to a girl on Student council during a break on the day when we were taking our High School Exit Exam about two weeks ago, and by saying a few words to her, getting a few responses back, I was almost scoffing. It's like, Really, we have this prep, drama freak, and cheerleader kind of girl representing the school? God... that suck.
I also remember when I was on student council about five years ago now, okay, five and a half, but hey, no one did anything really. We looked like we were leading, they made us take the credit for the decision, and it's like, we didn't make any of this. Hey, you'd think president ment you got decisions to make, but no... it's like sit there, say this on this piece of paper, and pretend you are doing something great for the school.
Hey, running this board (making sure the five or six active members is not acting up) is doing much more then student council, really. You ain't running 4,500 students, you are sitting and doing nothing, and basically acting like a prep or you are suppose to, I suppose.
