Hello, all, I go by ArtemisShardae, or Artemis, or Arti, or (though I usually don't give my real name out online, I know several people here in real life) Delaney is my real name (first name though it's usually a last name) and Laney is my real nickname. Whew, that was an extreme runon sentence.

I'm a freshman in high school, and I go to OCHSA (the Orange County High School of the Arts) for writing. So yeah, you might say I am COMPLETELY OBSESSED with writing. I'm a girl, and I'm straight. And . . . next paragraph.

I am a Cancer, and a Dog (Chinese) and I don't remember what my element is supposed to be. I don't pay much attention to horoscopes though I find them amusing. As to whether I really believe them . . . who knows?

I am extremely introverted, and since I am at school from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., you could say I'm always close to a meltdown by the end of the week.

Reading is my life, pretty much. I love many many books, ranging from Pride and Prejudice to Twilight. I also like the Septimus Heap series, Maximum Ride, Artemis Fowl, Court Duel, The Immortals (by Tamora Pierce), Dark Lord of Derkholm, Howl's Moving Castle (yes there is a book version), Dragon's Bait, Heir Apparent, and most likely thousands more that I've forgotten at this moment.

Movies: Gotta say Pride and Prejudice, the A&E mini-series as well as the 2005 film. I also like Hotel Rwanda, Enchanted, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Chocolat, and Sleepy Hollow (the movie with Johnny Depp because it ends happy ).

T.V. Shows: CASTLE! (is my new favorite), Grey's Anatomy (though it's gone downhill recently), Bones, Gossip Girl (...sometimes), and Firefly (only fourteen episodes, 'twas canceled).

Kids T.V. Shows: EXCEPT I DON'T HAVE CABLE/DIRECT TV/ANYTHING!!!

Anime/Manga: Well, I'm just slightly obsessed with anime and manga now . . . My favorite has got to be Bleach, though I like Naruto passably well and also enjoy one called Gintama and a new one called Nora (I forgot the full title). Maximum Ride also got turned into a manga. Not a graphic novel (which aren't as good) but a manga! YAY!

Musicals: How could I have forgotten?!? I have what is probably an unhealthy obsession with the Phantom of the Opera. I was lucky enough to see it recently at the Pantageas theater in Hollywood!!!! *cries of happiness*

Sometimes I am perfectly normal, other times I have a tendency to spazz out. Most of the time, competitions bore me, but when I get into it . . . I'm scary. And spazzy to the max.

I'm taking French as my language in high school. So...
Je m'appelle Zoe en francais. J'aime les livres. Et les chats. Et les chiens. Et les tigres. Et le francais. Et j'aime ecrire.

And I've saved the most important for last! I'm Christian, and not quite sure whether I'm denominational or not. I go to a small church which I like better than any other churches I've been to already.

On a random note, have you read Jane Eyre? It's a lot like Pride and Prejudice, but more drama. I think you would like it.

Yes, Gifted, I did read Jane Eyre about a year ago. I think it was good, though it did have a darker side to it, I think. I enjoyed it very much!!!

Well, I've been listening to the soundtrack of the Phantom of the Opera nonstop on my iPod . . . I guess it's my newest obsession. *sheepish grin*. But I really <3 Pride and Prejudice!!!

I couldn't stand Jane eyre, it's the intensive religion theme... now, that Lowood sponser Mr. Brocklehurst is the real problem in any society... Really, the whole Lowood thing just didn't appeal to me...
Then the whole book just didn't either... I couldn't stand mr. Rochester, and not the Bertha part either.
Oh, that "mr. Rochester goes blind" part really just disgusted me. The manner he acted was just shameful, and if anyone in the blind community saw him... it would be disgraceful.


I didn't like Pride And Prejudice either, the whole thing about Darcy being snobbby because he was rich part just got me more angry. Oh, and Lady Catherine...? Really she's just... a pain to read about.

Well, I personally really enjoyed Jane Erye and Pride and Prejudice, but each their own.

And I think Lady Catherine was supposed to be a pain to read about.
